Update from Southern Report’s story reported on Friday, Aug. 22:

The San Bernardino Sheriff’s Office announced arrests of Rebecca and Jake Haro, Emmanuel Haro’s parents, on murder charges. Jake Haro was also confirmed to be on probation for a 2018 charge of willful child abuse, where his daughter, Promise, was admitted to the hospital with broken bones. Officials have also confirmed that Jake Haro refused to take a lie detector test.

It is not yet known was evidence prompted officials to conclude the 7-week old child had been killed.
