A report of reckless driving escalates after Heather Sunderman gets combative with law enforcement

The YouTube Video, originally released by MidWest Safety, had 1.8 million views at the time this article was published. It opens with a truck that appears to have gone off the road and into a wooded brush brush area with law enforcement approaching the vehicle and demanding that the driver step out of the car and show them their hands.

According to the video, Florida Keys Sheriff Officers had eventually caught up with Ms. Sunderman after multiple 911 calls were made, reporting her driving to be erratic and one caller reported a hit-and-run.

When questioned as to whether or not she had been drinking, Heather replied, “I had ONE drink after I left the bar tonight!” The question was asked again and the subsequent answers varied. Sunderman’s speech was incoherent at times with responses such as “that’s where my park is trucked.”

Sunderman can be heard repeatedly referencing her ex-husband’s status as a cop and asking officers to call him, rather than cooperating with their instructions.
