Alexander Wurm, 53, and his daughter Serena, 22, have been identified as the two victims from the November 10th plane crash

The father and daughter involved in the plane crash on Monday, Nov. 10 have been identified.

The Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department responded to 5000 NW 57th Way in the Fort Lauderdale suburb after being alerted to a plane crash, according to aĀ news releaseĀ from the City of Coral Springs.

Police confirmed later that day that “two people tragically lost their lives” in the accident, but have since identified the crash victims as Alexander Wurm, 53, and his daughter Serena, 22.

The father and daughter duo and were traveling to Jamaica with relief supplies via their ministry, Ignite the Fire, when they crashed into a small pond just outside of Fort Lauderdale, from where they had recently departed.

A tribute was posted by the ministry on their Facebook page that included, ā€œAlex leaves behind his beautiful wife, Candace, and two children, son James (17) and daughter Christiana (20). Serena, following in her father’s footsteps, was a beacon of empathy and hope, inspiring all with her commitment to humanitarian work. Together, their final journey embodied selflessness and courage, reminding us of the power of service and love.ā€
