Elaine Angene Escoe is still at large after failing to appear in court on June 5th for her alleged fraud scheme

The FBI is asking the public to help in their search for Elaine Angene Escoe, a 40-year-old Palm Beach woman who failed to appear in court on June 5th.
Investigators say that Escoe was one of several people who constructed a scheme to ultimately steal 34 million dollars of COVID relief funds after falsly applying for the Paycheck Protection Program. Her charges include conspiracy to commit wire fraud, conspiracy to commit money laundering, wire fraud, concealment of money laundering and transactional money laundering.
Escoe has previously gone by the alias Annie Palmer, is a Jamaican national that also has ties to south Florida. According to the FBI, she is 5’4″, weighs 150 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. She has tattoos on her left wrist, abdomen, back and right shoulder.
